Romance author Peggy Stoks wrote her novella Tea for Marie for the anthology Victorian Christmas Tea realizing that while anthologies are popular in the secular romance market, there aren’t many available to Christian readers. Peggy combined her great interest in history with the novella format to appeal to busy women readers of all ages. She hopes that Christian readers will share the anthology with non-believers. Peggy’s other published works include the several other novellas, the novels Wild Winds and Frontier Heat, the Abounding Love series, and various articles written for Raising Minnesota and Minneapolis Woman magazines.
A former registered nurse, Peggy attends the Catholic Church of St. Paul, Minnesota, and maintains an active community service schedule including writing for her church newsletter, volunteering as a funeral cook, and attending a multi-denominational Christian Bible study. She enjoys biking, tennis, classical music, romance and mystery novels, traveling, and working crossword puzzles. Peggy and her husband, Jeff, have three daughters and make their home in Lino Lakes, Minnesota.
This is my first encounter with author, Peggy Stoks. I was greatly impressed with her novel, Elena’s Song, and will definitely seek out the first two in the Abounding Love series (Olivia’s Touch and Romy’s Walk.) Be sure to read the review of Elena’s Song below to find out more specifics on what I thought of it.
