Since I have stumbled upon books
written by Beverly Lewis I have become a full
fledged fan of her writing! I find her books
on the Amish people to be wonderfully interesting
and engaging. I encourage you to read her Amish
books, The
Shunning, The Confession, and The Reckoning
(The Heritage of Lancaster Series) as
well as The
Postcard and
The Crossroad. Recently added
to this site is her book, The
Redemption of Sarah Cain. A collaboration
with her husband, David, is the wonderfully
suspenseful Sanctuary.
Check out my review of this great book!
Beverly Lewis has done an
extensive series of chapter books for young
girls as well which are worth checking out.
