"Every child should have the chance to live on a farm," asserts Bonnie Siegrist. "It's magical." Siegrist herself spent her childhood ona farm in Lititz, Pennsylvania. When her granddaughter asked her to write down her memories after a visit to the old farm, she knew God was calling her to put her stories into print.

Siegrist and her husband, Ken, reside in St. Petersburg, Florida, near their two children and six grandchildren. They visit schools and teach Christian values to children, while entertaining them with puppets and skits. Siegrist often uses stories from her own childhood to make a point. She also loves speaking to groups on her favorite topic, "Enjoying your children." Before publication, her first book in the projected eight-book series, Little Farm Down the Lane, won the Florida Writers Association's Best Unpublished Children's Book Award.
