Judith
Pella holds a nursing degree and B. A. in Social Sciences.
Her background as a writer stems from her avid reading
and researching in historical, adventure, and geographical
venues. Pella, with her two sons, resides in Eureka,
California.
Judith
often combines talents and creative forces with Michael
Phillips. The PHILLIPS/PELLA writing team had its beginning
in the long-standing friendship of Michael and Judy
Phillips with Judith Pella. During a Bible study at
Pella's home he chanced upon a half-completed sheet
of paper sticking out of a type writer. His author's
instincts aroused, he inspected it more closely, and
asked their friend, "Do you write?" A discussion
followed, common interests were explored, and it was
not long before the Phillips invited Pella to their
home for dinner to discuss collaboration on a proposed
series of novels. Thus, the best-selling "Stonewyke"
books were born, which led in turn to "The Highland
Collection," and the "Journals of Corrie Belle
Hollister." (c) Bethany House Publishers.
I have enjoyed
Judith Pella's contemporary fiction as well as her fiction
with Michael Phillips. She is a noted Christian author
and I am always eager to read her new works of fiction.
