I had the delight
of meeting with Karen Kingsbury and having her sign a book
for me at a local Christian bookstore here in Mississauga!
She was wonderful and even brought her own camera and film
to have pictures taken for those of us who wanted to pose
with her!!! She was very warm and down-to-earth and even
had pictures of all the children in her life (and she has
6!) I asked her if she wrote from personal experience and
she said no. God has given her the amazing gift of being
able to sit down with someone and speak with them for two
hours and really come away with the essence of that person
and their situation. From speaking to her, I can attest
how this might be possible. Her gaze is magnetic and she
speaks as if she is truly interested in the person to whom
she is speaking. I was truly delighted by her and am even
a bigger fan than I was before from this experience of meeting
and speaking with her. - Tracy
Karen Kingsbury is the
bestselling author of eighteen books, with a total of more
than 1.3 million copies in print. She is also a recognized
author with the Women of Faith Fiction Club. One of her

Karen wrote four true crime
novels for Dell Publishing (Missie's Murder, Final Vows,
Deadly Pretender, and Snake and the Spider) Then
she wrote four more novels for Berkely Publishing under
the pen name, Kelsey Tyler.
These were a collection of
true miracles and answered prayer stories. She is currently
working on writing a series of fictionalized miracle stories
for Warner Books.
She broke into the Christian
Publishing market with her book Where Yesterday Lives,
a story whose main character is losely woven around Karen
Kingsbury herself.
Writing books has allowed
Karen to remain at home caring for her three biological
children and her three adopted sons. She credits this as
an answer to prayer. She hopes to continue writing for decades
to come.(c) www.karenkingsbury.com
