Marian Wells

Marian Wells was born in the state of Utah, and attended Northwest Nazarene College. Though the Starlight Trilogy books are fictional, the author has thoroughly researched and documented the historical events surrounding the stories. Two of her other books, The Wedding Dress and its sequel, With This Ring, are written in a similar style. (c) Bethany House Publishers

I haven't read a lot of books by Marian Wells yet, but have enjoyed the ones I have read. Growing up in a Mormon community has made me interested in reading all I can about the Mormon religion. I think that these books are acurate, if not sometimes horrifying, and are a must read for anyone interested in the Mormons or who enjoys reading Christian Historical Fiction set in the 1800's.
