Bright Sword of Justice continues in the Guardians of the North tradition, following the trials of Hunter Stone, North West Mountie, and Reena O’Donnel, missionary to the Blackfoot Indians. Stone follows the trail of a violent gang which leads him directly to the Blackfoot camp where Reena is living as a missionary. A new missionary, Jack Sheffield, has also arrived at this camp, and has developed strong feelings for Reena. Will Jack’s idealistic expectations lure Reena away from Stone or will she remain true to her feelings for the rugged Mountie? More chaos is added to the situation when one of the dangerous outlaws turns out to be Reena’s younger brother, Liam. Will Stone listen to Reena’s pleas to set her brother free, or will he remain steadfast and true to his commitment to carrying out justice, even if it means losing his love? Another great Canadian frontier book.
