Alan Flory has created a bold and bright book for children.  Each section features pictures of an animal that God made (chimpanzees, birds, cows, sheep etc.) and a verse describing what makes them special.  It ends with the chorus: “God made me.  He made you.  He gave us Jesus; His love is true.  Jesus, Jesus, I love You.  And I know You love me too !”
On each page are colourful music notes and symbols that help remind you that this book  is based on a song. The book includes a CD with different versions of the song (voice and instrumental), as well as the bonus song “What a Beautiful Day”.
I really like this book.  It is happy and uplifting with a good message that even parents need to hear.  The hardcover makes it more durable, and the included CD makes it a good value.
I also “test drove” this book with my 2 children.  My 3 year old son loved the large clear pictures and the artwork.  He would flip a page, point to the animal and make its sound.  My 5 year old daughter on the other hand was far more interested in the CD and loved the song versions that featured kids singing.
This would be a great package to use in a children’s church or Sunday school program, as the complete song (including written music, chords etc.) is included in the back of the book.  You could also just use the instrumental versions of the song that are included on the CD.
