Bill Myers books for kids have been described as outrageous and this one is certainly that! It has the type of humour that will have kids in hysterics and dreaming up their own make believe antics. I really enjoyed this fantastic story about Bernie Dingledorf who must save the world from the terrible Dr. Chuckles who is throwing Bernie's world into chaos by making everyone succumb to unstoppable giggles!

The author writes with a fast-flowing pace, incorporating sound effects and dialogue in a seemingly effortless manner. The characters are loveable, the action fast, crazy, and definitely interesting, and the underlying theme of loving and respecting others for who God created them to be all work together to create a great story. I think it is probably the best for 8- 12 year olds but I certainly enjoyed it as a quick read myself!

Your son or daughter (and even you!) won't be disappointed with this choice!
