This is a fun and zany book that retells favourite Bible stories with a slight, erroneous twist at the end. For example, when the Israelites are wandering in the desert for 40 years, they suddenly come across a McDonalds where they can buy "camel burgers" and "Pharaoh Fries". Then, the author tells the real ending of the story and refers the reader to an actual Biblical retelling of the story at the back of the book. Kids aged 4 and up will LOVE this book and the crazy ideas that they will recognize immediately as being wrong. This would definitely appeal to a youngster's sense of humour, as well as reinforce the Biblical stories we want our children to learn and identify with. The illustrations are zany and just as humourous as the stories themselves. This is a great addition to a family library or a Christian School's library!!
