Alligator Baby is another delightful book about a family who is awaiting the arrival of the new baby. When the mom and dad bring the baby home from the hospital, they get several very unusual clues about what the new baby looks like. When it is finally revealed at the end, they discover the baby doesn't look like they expected and the parents brought home the wrong baby from the hospital! Children absolutely love this story and will listen intently, stifling giggles, regardless whether it's the first or one hundred first time the story has been read. I read it numerous times in my classroom and look forward to sharing it with my own sons! It's another quality story with great read-aloud text and marvelous pictures by Michael Martchenko.
