Stephanie's Ponytail is another winner from Robert Munsch. This story is about a little girl who wears her hair in an outrageous ponytail each day. Each day the kids see her ponytail and wear their hair just like hers the next day. This frustrates Stephanie who then finds another hair style the next day which then gets copied again. This continues until the end when Stephanie threatens to shave all her hair off her head. It is a great way to teach a lesson on being an individual and not copying others. It has many great lesson applications beyond this one and is a great classroom library addition. Again, Michael Martchenko does wonderful and hilarious pictures that entertain not only the kids in your family, the adults too.
