Robin Jones Gunn
is the author of many inspirational romance novels
including the best-selling novels, Secrets and Whispers.
She is also know for her novels for teens such as
Christy Miller series and Sierra Jensen series.
I have only recently
discovered Robin Jones Gunn, but have read several
of her books in less than a week. They are light,
easy reading and leave the reader filled with optimism
and hope for their own "love" lives with
their spouses and with God. This author effectively
weaves God and the characters' faith in God throughout
the novels. Often the main character is struggling
to come back into a right relationship with God
and it is encouraging to see this happen. Her depiction
of relationships with God are very realistic and
let the reader know that their own struggles with
an intimate relationship with God are not in vane.
I have very much
enjoyed the light reading and the enjoyable story
lines in these novels. I would recommend them to
any reader who likes inspirational romance!
