Set in the mysterious and dangerous Arabian desert during the Great War, Arabian Winds combines suspenseful mystery writing, excellent character development,edge-of-your -seat-thrills, with a passionate love story.  Young Allison Wescott finds fulfillment and joy working on the Nile with her aging Aunt on her medical missions boat.  Her fiancee, Wade Finlay, is to serve nearby as Chaplain to the British and Australian forces stationed in Zeitoun.  Taking a needed vacation with old family friends who are members of a mysterious archaeological club, Allison finds her serene life cast into upheaval as two bodies are found in the desert sands. The arrival of a handsome British officer at the camp complicates Allison's life as she finds herself under his interrogation.  Suddenly, everything is not as it appears.  The hot coals of romance are suddenly flaming amidst murder and danger.  Who will Allison choose to trust amidst this mysterious grouping of archaeologists and will her own life be threatened?  Only the hot Arabian nights carry the answers to this murder mystery!  I found myself utterly and uncontrollably immersed within the pages of the mystery book.  Filled with danger, intrigue, and romance, I could not put this book down!!  A definite winner in the mystery and romance category!!

In the much anticipated sequel to Arabian Nights, Lions of the Desert promises much in the way of mystery, intrigue, and romance.  Allison Wescott finds herself volunteering as a nurse in the "War to end all Wars".  It is the Arabian desert, 1915.  Allison is once again working alongside her fiancee, Wade Finlay, as she endures battlefield fighting that scars her impressionable mind.  The reappearance of British Intelligence Officer Bret Holden shakes her plans as once again he rescues her just in time.   On a much needed medical leave in Cairo, Allison finds herself caught up in a web of intrigue involving an unexplainable murder, search for treasure and frightening encounters with people Allison has trusted without question for years.  Underlying all this is the rising passion between Allison and Bret Holden.  This story of faith, love, and intrigue does not disappoint as I enjoyed every page of it.  It is one I recommend with enthusiasm and waited impatiently for the third in this series, Valiant Hearts.

Valiant Hearts delivers all the mystery, intrigue, and passion as the two preceding it.  Set in the mysterious and romantic Egypt among pyramids, deserts, and the Nile, Allison Wescott finds her love for Bret Holden threatened as he is suspended from his position in British Intelligence.  Surely he can't be capable of the things he is charged with.  Or is he?  It appears that he is hiding something and she must trust her faith in God and in the man who has been a man of honour and integrity in the past.  Allison is left to navigate the Nile amidst murder, espionage, suspicion and betrayal at the mercy of a dangerous German spy.  Will Bret materialize just when she needs him the most or will she lose her life this time? Valiant Hearts weaves a tail of mystery and passion as it concludes the "Great War" saga begun in the first two books.   This book is just as awesome as the two preceding it.  I was sorry to be finished this series!  A must read!
