I have an intense love for books!  I love to read!  I love to encourage others to read! Having been an elementary school teacher, I have developed a love for children's books as well as adult fiction.  Having a new son has awakened me to the whole genre of infant and preschool books that I have not experienced before.  I have been delighted to find a wealth of excellent books for infants and preschoolers and would love to share this experience with my guests. 
     Several years ago I opened a door into Christian Historical Fiction and have not turned back since.  I read books that had a life altering impact on me.  My purpose is to encourage other readers to develop a love for reading and for Christian Fiction by introducing them to many beloved authors and their works of fiction.  By writing a short review of each book, I hope to awaken a curiosity in my guests to go out and read a book or read a book to a youngster. 
 

I do this to the Glory and Honour of God, whom I hope each viewer will see a glimpse of through the reviews of the many Christian books on this site. While I began with the intent of making this site completely Christian, I found that I was leaving out some very worthwhile books in the process. Thus, I have added some books that are not Christian, but do hold important values and can impart some wisdom in some manner. I am referring mostly to my Parenting and Teaching sections with my comments above.
