I really, really enjoyed the strong protagonist, Faith Butler, in this terrific story of a woman who must find a way to survive with her two children in the wild west. She is full of strength, gumption, perseverance and an unfailing belief in God. Drake Butler is the epitomy of the hardened bachelor who is yearning for a soft touch in his male dominated world and needs to find comfort and joy in his Saviour as well. This is a delightful love story interspersed with colourful characters like Rick (the town Doc who relies on alcohol to get by) and Gertie (the tough wrangler who desires a love of her own but doubts anyone would want her).


I believe you will enjoy this story as much as I have! You won’t regret picking up this novel by Robin Lee Hatcher!
