Amazon has released its list of top 10 bestselling eBooks in the Christian Historical Fiction category. Oddly enough, only one of the top ten eBooks is on Amazon’s list for top 10 physical books and none of them are on the national bestseller list. You may also notice that many of these books have been around for quite a while.
Why is the eBook bestseller list so different from the rest? Are eBook readers really that different from the rest? Or are eBook buyers really into archiving their old favorites? Your guess is as good as mine.

I’ve heard of some of those authors, but I don’t recognize any of those titles. I guess I’ve been missing out on some fantastic stories!
I think these books must be discounted in cost (or even free) and that’s why they are on the e-book list. I have a Kindle and I do download a lot of the free and inexpensive books. As far as great historical Christian fiction, I just read Pearl in the Sand by Tessa Afshar. It was great. You can read my 100 word review on my blog (http://mytrampolinelife.blogspot.com/2010/12/100-word-review-pearl-in-sand.html). I loved it. It should definitely be on Amazon’s best reviewed. That’s how I found it.

Unless I missed it, none of these books have been free in Kindle format lately. Not sure how they fall into the top 10, but my guess might have something to do with Amazon’s genre assignment. I come across so many books that should fall under Christian fiction, but instead, are simply listed under fiction, and then maybe with a subcategory of historical, mystery, etc.
